On May 15, Samsel Architects received a Griffin Award from the Preservation Society of Asheville & Buncombe County for our historic rehabilitation work on the Southern Highland Craft Gallery. The Craft Gallery’s new home is the Biltmore-Oteen Bank building, located in Historic Biltmore Village. After years of neglect, the Biltmore-Oteen Bank was purchased by the Southern Highland Craft Guild and subsequently renovated by Samsel Architects and Heritage Restoration & Construction.
